Colour is not just decoration. It is part of the product.
Surface, material density, light and movement all combine to determine how a colour appears. That is why we do not show colours as a simulated on-screen image, but on the actual fabric and, where possible, on the finished TWIOO product.
COLOUR NEEDS A SURFACE
One shade. Many effects.
A similar shade of blue may appear calm and with a satin finish in PREMIUM, have a slight shimmer in SLEEK, and reflect significantly more light in SHINE. MicroMesh alters the effect through transparency, whilst Stage Glam does so through glossy spots.
That is why every colour choice must always be considered in relation to the material, the sport and the desired look. Our colour page will bring all this information together in one place and replace the previous PDF colour chart.

PREMIUM is our versatile base fabric. The surface is smooth and has a relatively silky-matt finish. The fabric fits close to the body, retains its elasticity and has a high-quality look without being overly conspicuous.

Hard to describe. You can feel it straight away.
PREMIUM TENSION It is made from recycled fibres and feels noticeably firmer against the skin. Its distinctive, dense texture provides support and a slightly compressive feel, without restricting movement.

Lightweight nylon-spandex fabric for shirts and tops.
PREMIUM LIGHT applies the TWIOO fabric concept to lightweight, close-fitting tops. The fabric is smooth, stretchy and pleasantly light, offering a higher-quality alternative to standard polyester running shirts.

That typical, slightly shimmery Lycra look.
SLEEK is a nylon-spandex fabric with the characteristic sheen that many associate with classic Lycra. The surface has a slight shimmer in the light and gives colours and body contours a visibly sporty look.

Smooth finish. Distinctly glossy.
SHINE It acquires its distinctive surface through additional machine finishing. This makes the fabric particularly smooth and allows it to reflect light more clearly and evenly than ‘SLEEK’.

06WL BLACK
Sporty on the outside. Exceptionally comfortable on the inside.
WL BLACK is a high-quality polyamide-elastane winter fabric. It has a soft, brushed finish on the inside, a smooth exterior and a lasting deep black colour. Close-fitting winter layers and slim-fit shirts retain their neat appearance and rich black colour even after many washes.

Lightness, transparency and movement.
MicroMesh is an elastic, finely textured mesh fabric with a slight sheerness. It allows for airy, visually light inserts without restricting the freedom of movement in close-fitting outfits.

Stage Glam is a stretchy performance fabric featuring numerous shiny lacquered dots. Movement and directed light create an intense, iridescent effect, similar to that seen in high-quality gymnastics and stage outfits.

Printed to impress.
IMPY TWIOO SPORTS offers a range of printable materials. Here, we have deliberately made an exception to our usual focus on polyamide: high-quality polyester enables brilliant, detailed and long-lasting prints. Depending on the product, we use matt or glossy IMPY base materials.

03 · IMPY
Printed to impress.
IMPY It is not a single colour. It is a design system for customised prints, colour gradients, logos and complex designs.
The design is transferred onto a high-quality, stretchy base fabric and only then cut to size and sewn together. Depending on the product, we choose either a matt or glossy finish, which can complement other TWIOO fabric ranges in terms of feel and appearance.
Made from 80 per cent polyester and 20 per cent elastane, ‘IMPY’ is a deliberate exception in our predominantly polyamide-based range. In this case, polyester is not a cost-saving material, but rather the technical prerequisite for brilliant and durable sublimation prints.

Screen paint is not fabric paint.
Glare, lighting, viewing angles and the display settings on your own monitor all affect how you perceive things. SLEEK, SHINE and Stage Glam, in particular, rely on their interfaces changing as the light shifts.

We maintain the colour display using photographs of real fabrics and products rather than artificially generated colour swatches.
Thinking about materials
The same colour name can look quite different on a matt, glossy or transparent surface.
Coordinate patterns
For larger projects, suitable fabric samples or more definitive colour references can be agreed upon.

For teams, corporate runs, clubs and promotional projects, we combine materials, colours, logos, names and, where appropriate, customised prints to create a cohesive visual identity.
Customisation is generally possible even for orders of just one item. Colour and team-themed designs become particularly interesting when planning multiple products or 25, 50 or more items together.
